How does it work?

WHERE DO THE BOATS LEAVE FROM?

BoarBoats depart from POLTU QUATU. In the northern part of Gallura, in the territory of Arzachena, there is a small fjord characterized by pink granite rocks, shaped by the wind, overlooking one of Sardinia's most beautiful landscapes: the Maddalena archipelago. Here stands Poltu Quatu, a small village devoted to the seafaring life of yesteryear and strategically located in a natural inlet immersed in the typical Mediterranean landscape, an exclusive place between crystal clear sea and the social life of the Costa Smeralda. Established in 1987 as a landing place for small and medium-sized boats, over time the village became a destination for the jet set and is now surrounded by accommodations of various categories, famous restaurants, big-name stores and diving clubs.

Otherwise boats leave from CANNIGIONE, which is located on the western side of the largest and deepest ria, that is, an inlet created by an estuary, in northeastern Sardinia. Cannigione, a hamlet of Arzachena, originally a fishing village, is a renowned tourist village. Its seafront promenade is occupied by the docks of a modern, wide harbor. Next to it is the ‘town’ beach: pale, coarse-grained sand that plunges into a sea of infinite shades of blue. The seabed slopes gently, much appreciated by diving and snorkeling practitioners, so much so that it has become one of the diving centers par excellence in Sardinia: not to be missed are visits to the posidonia beds at various dive spots, particularly the Mortoriotto rock. Near the beach also parking, equipment and boat rental, bar, restaurant and accommodation facilities.

However, the pick up must be agreed in advance with the customer who will decide whether to leave from POLTU QUATU or from CANNIGIONE

Our boats do “semi” established tours in the sense that you choose based on the weather conditions but in general they are:

- south of Corsica

- Tavolara Island

- Costa Smeralda
